Exchange Partners

A controlled pathway for institutional ecosystem engagement.

Exchange Partners forms ISC’s Partnership Network: a separate institutional ecosystem and partnership pathway for suitable opportunity-side and infrastructure-side organisations. Participation is assessment-led and independent of ISC’s three divisions. It is not an exchange, marketplace or guaranteed-access programme.

  • Separate pathway
  • Assessment-led
  • No guaranteed access
Two-sided pathway

Two routes into one controlled assessment process.

Exchange Partners considers opportunities and institutional capabilities from two distinct sides. The route is designed to establish potential fit before any further discussion.

Opportunity side

Organisations presenting an institutional opportunity.

Suitable organisations may present an opportunity for initial consideration.

  • Asset owners
  • Originators
  • Issuers
  • Sponsors
  • Corporate or institutional opportunity holders
Infrastructure side

Organisations presenting an institutional capability.

Suitable organisations may present an institutional capability that could be relevant to the broader ISC ecosystem.

  • Market and institutional infrastructure organisations
  • Technology and specialist infrastructure organisations
  • Professional, governance and strategic networks

An initial enquiry identifies possible fit. It does not approve, appoint or automatically match parties.

Potential participant contexts

Illustrative enquiry contexts.

The pathway is intentionally broad enough to consider different institutional contexts while remaining subject to individual assessment.

Opportunity owners and originators

Asset owners, originators, issuers, sponsors and corporate or institutional opportunity holders seeking an initial fit assessment.

Market and institutional infrastructure

External venues, market-infrastructure organisations and other institutional service organisations presenting a potentially relevant capability.

Technology and specialist infrastructure

Organisations presenting relevant technology, data, security, integration or specialist operational capability.

Professional and strategic networks

Professional, governance, advisory, research or strategic networks that may have a relevant institutional alignment.

These categories are illustrative and do not confirm a relationship between ISC and any particular organisation.

Assessment and next steps

How Exchange Partners enquiries are assessed.

Organisations may enquire where they believe an opportunity or capability could align with the ISC ecosystem. Each enquiry is considered on its own facts.

  1. Initial high-level enquiry

Provide a concise description of the organisation, opportunity or capability and the reason it may be relevant.

  2. Fit and pathway review

ISC considers whether the enquiry appears relevant to the Exchange Partners pathway or another appropriate ISC route.

  3. Appropriate further discussion

Where relevant, the parties may determine whether a more detailed discussion is appropriate and what information may be required.

  4. Next-step decision

Any next step is determined after individual review and remains subject to appropriate legal, regulatory, commercial, technical and risk considerations.

Not every criterion applies to every enquiry, and not every enquiry will progress.

Confidentiality and public boundaries

Keep the first enquiry high-level.

The public Contact route is intended to establish initial fit. It is not an NDA, secure deal room or substitute for formal due diligence.

  • Do not submit confidential documents, sensitive credentials or detailed transaction files through the initial public enquiry.
  • Partner identities, commercial terms and relationship structures are not publicly represented without appropriate approval.
  • Each organisation remains responsible for its own legal, regulatory, commercial, technical and risk assessment.
  • An enquiry does not guarantee access, appointment, listing, liquidity, partnership or any commercial relationship.
